Gracie Diet Acai Smoothie Contest – Official Results

The only rules were that the smoothies had to be Gracie Diet compliant, and they had to include Acai as one of the ingredients! Acai Smoothie

This is how I make an Acai Smoothie. Acai is my favorite berry in the world. I use 1 frozen Acai pack by Sambazon, 5 frozen strawberries, 1 banana, 1/2 cup of apple juice, and 1 scoop of Raw Power supplement. 100% Gluten-Free, VEGAN, and RAW.

Blueberry-Pineapple Smoothie

Today we’re going to be making a blueberry pineapple smoothie. As I mentioned at the grocery store, a lot of products have added sugars. So what we’re doing today is we’re using all products without added sugar. So we have frozen blueberries here. As I mentioned, when you can’t get fresh, frozen are a lot better than canned fruits because canned fruits tend to have added sugars whether they’re canned in light syrup or heavy syrup. But the frozen blueberries are just blueberries frozen, no added sugars. Then we have this pineapple juice. You have to read the labels because a lot of juices have high fructose corn syrup or other added sugars. But this pineapple juice is just strictly pineapple juice. So any sugar that’s naturally occurring in the juice or in the blueberries is the only sugar that’s in the product. And we have plain non-fat yogurt. And obviously this is not sweetened so it’s completely plain, no added sugars. Then we have the ice cubes and then we’re going to put just 1 teaspoon of honey. That’s going to be what sweetens this. So here we go. Let’s grab a spoon. Ok, so we’re going to take our frozen blueberries and actually frozen fruit is a great choice for when you’re making something like a smoothie because it adds that cold texture, that icy texture you’re looking for. Here we have the pineapple juice. And the yogurt. And then it calls for a teaspoon of honey so we’re just going to put a very very small amount. About a ½ teaspoon to a teaspoon. Ok, and
